It is so convenient to grab a commercial toilet spray off the shelf when you do your weekly food shopping but little do we realise what we are bringing into the home!
Artificial fragrances are very toxic to our endocrine system and this causes havoc to our hormones. The safest and most cost effective approach is to make your own beautiful fragrances from easy household ingredients. The best toilet fresheners smell amazing and are easy to use. We zing our toilet sprays up a little with some vodka to help the smell disperse and linger and it definitely has that great air freshening smell about it!
So what do we do?
It is so easy to create your own Best Toilet Freshener, you just need:
- 8 drops Sandalwood Essential Oil
- 2 drops Wild Orange Essential Oil
- 1 drop Patchouli Essential Oil
- 1 drop Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
- 15ml Vodka
- 15ml Fractionated Coconut Oil
Method:
Add all ingredients into a dark glass spritzer bottle and top up with water and you are ready to go.
